Hello Netters, please forgive me if this question has been asked before. I have just gotten my copy of MacMinix for my Mac Plus. I have successfully installed the whole system on my harddisk and everything seems fine so far, except that I cannot print any file in Minix to my Imagewriter II. My IW is connected to the printer port of my Mac+ (not AppleTalk linked), and I can print from any other applications successfully except Minix. I have try to use the command "lpr" to print a file (Minix file, not Mac file), but nothing happens (no printout and nothing report on the console, just exit as successful). Then I try to redirect the stdout to /dev/tty3 (i.e. cat <file> > /dev/tty3), but I only get a single line of garbage characters. I have check the chooser and sure it's correctly connected the IW driver with the printer port (and as I've said before, I can print in other applications). So I just don't know how to do with this situation. So could anybody please help me to solve this problem ? I know I can export a Minix file as a Mac TEXT file and use a text editor to print it, but this is just too inconvenient, and I believe there must be some method to print in MacMinix.
