Hello, thanks for the responses to my questions about C-compilers. I'm sorry about the two empty pages in that message, I don't know where they came from. Some of the answers did raise a few more questions, which might be important to other people as well, so here they are. Bruce Evans (and others too) said that there's the GNU C compiler, which is public domain. Where can I get it? And (more important) will it run on my PC which will have Minix running on it shortly? Or (if not) will it run on Amiga Minix? Again, if not, why not? I have also access to a Prime, with lots of memory if that's the problem is it possible to run GNU on that (rather dumb) thing (if that's the problem)? Some info: my PC has only 640K ram, 2 360K drives, 20Mb hd, of which 5 to 10 MB will be minix partition. The Amiga has 1Mb of ram and 1 720K diskdrive. To wayne Hayes: Since I don't have Minix yet, I don't have any use for it right now, but thanks for the offer. Thanks, Jan Evert van Grootheest.
