I have two problems: 1. I have an XT with a DTK high density floppy controller and a 1.2M floppy. Minix will not read the disk as high density, no matter which device I use (/dev/at0 /dev/fd0 etc.) And my B: drive (360K) will not work at all. It just gets read errors whenever I try to mount anything. Both of these drives work fine under dos. 2. I also have a 20M st225 with an old WD controller. I can't get minix to make a file system larger than 10394 or so blocks. After 10394 it gets errors. I tried partitioning it into 2,3 and 4 partitions but it won't access past the 10394'th block. Disk works fine under DOS. I have had the same problems with 1.2 1.3 and 1.5, I got 1.2 and upgraded from the net. I also tried PH1.5 ( a friend of mine bought it, thought I may have made a mistake in the upgrades but there was not difference.) Any help will greatly be appreciated. Jerome mopar@unix.cis.pitt.edu
