If programs are compiled on the PC with the ACK compiler and the -p
option, the code generator sets a location in the header file to a
unique value somewhere near every jump or call. (The location label
is hod0, if my memory is correct - I've lost my notes). After several
days experimenting with different algorithms, I still can't find out
how ACK generates the unique value for each jump; the fact that the
value is generated at semi-random intervals in the code is of less
importance, I can live with that.
Could someone with intimate knowlegde of this **** compiler please
let me know how it generates the number for hod0? (? hol0).
Many thanks - Will
