Hello, I am in the process of (trying) to upgrade my PC MINIX 1.3 to 1.5.0, and am having a terrible time. I see where some of the kernel sources reference a file called "proto.h". All of my "proto.h" files are garbage, and I see in the CRC list that proto.h is supposed to be of length 0. Is proto.h a placeholder for future use? Should they be empty files, as the CRC list seems to indicate? Thank you very much for your help. This upgrade process has been VERY frustrating and confusing so far, I'm hoping 1.5.0 -> 1.5.10 is somewhat easier!
