What is the situation with hard disk device drivers for Amiga Minix? I am asking this because it would probably be possible to use the device drivers that come with A-Max II (the Mac emulator for the Amiga). These device drivers don't really have OS dependencies in them just basically the SCSI protocol or non-SCSI requests for blocks (switchable). I don't know the status of these device drivers; are they developed by A-Max or the manufacturers of the hard disk controller devices? I know many of the more popular device drivers come with A-Max, but it is probably possible to get them from the manufacturer, say GVP. Anybody know? The A-Max device drivers are position-independant single-hunk amiga load-files which internally have a setup routine to call while AmigaDos is still around to find out where the devices are and store that address in the device driver. ...just an idea. -- Dave Campbell dave@csis.dit.csiro.au -- dave campbell
