Thanks for all the response on this question. Let me post a few responses. First of all, most of you suggested buying it directly from PH. Based on other comments (e.g., lousy service) I would not recommend these guys. A few folks have found MINIX at local technical book stores for under $150. Since most people don't have access to these local stores, I won't mention them other than to say try your local bookstore first. No one suggested OPAMP, or gave a price for OPAMP; so I can't comment on them. I would assume they carry it though. The best price I've seen or heard of from a national mail-order outfit is the Austin Code Works. They have PC-MINIX 1.5 in stock for $150. I've dealt with them in the past and they ship very quickly (much better than stories I've heard about PH). I don't have my Dr. Dobbs handy so I don't have the phone #. If you want it, mail me and I'll send it to you. ACW has provided excellent service in the past so I have no reason to doubt them now. BTW, that's 5-1/4" disks in stock. They may have to order 3-1/2" diskette versions. *** Randy Hyde`
