[comp.os.minix] New Minix Questions

Friends:

	I have just purchased the NEW Minix 1.5, copywrite 1991, for
the 386 which runs in protected mode. I want to add GNU Emacs, G++ and
the Mini-X windows programs, but I am a bit confused, to say the
least, about what patches and assorted other programs I will need to
install this software. From reading the bboard it seems that most
people are using the earlier versions and need the patches and other
supporting programs. Can someone give me an update as to where I stand
in my confusion.
