[net.unix-wizards] interactive graphics editors?

We are expecting our SUN workstations soon.
Some of the projects that we have talked about here have
raised an interesting question: are there any interactive
graphics packages available under UNIX? We would like
to be able to gin up drawings for display on the SUNs.
