Anyone else out there using a PS/2 Model 50 have problems with fdisk? After running fdisk and partitioning my harddisk (30M type 33) minix was fine and dos seemed happy with the dos partition except that it wouldn't boot from it. I made sure it was active and that the system was correct but no go. Also, when using the reference disk to check the configuration, it said it couldn't read the drive type from the hard disk drive. Finally I fixed the dos boot problem by copying the partition sector from another model 50 with the same drive type. Upon inspecting the partition that was on the disk after running fdisk (minix) I found messages that didn't conform to dos's normal messages. One was UNABLE TO LOAD USER DRIVER. Not one I have seen before. I am using Shoelace but I boot off of a floppy so it shouldn't have changed the hard disk. Any one else using a PS/2 have any problems?
