I have obtained a scsi driver for use with unix from the comp.periphs.scsi newsgroup, but I have not been able to get it running under minix. It was written for a system V machine, and most of the include files do not exist, oh have to have system V specific code to work properly. I would be interested in finding out if anyone out there is using minix with a scsi drive, and if so would you please post the sources to your driver, I really don't care if it is perfect, or has bugs, but right now the only way I can use my machine is with the demo disk instead of the 1.5.10 distribution I have. Question two. Why does the demo disk recognize the scsi drive, and allow to create a filesystem on it, yest not allow for the dosread, dosdir, and doswrite commands? So far I have mixed the demo disk and distribution as far as it will go, but this is getting thin fast, and I need a scsi driver. Thanks.
