[flame off] to be serious: since the anouncement of the new beta version of origami I tried to reach this server from the US (to be specific: from Buffalo,NY, State University). I never got anything else than a ftp timeout, right when ftp tries to connect to the server. The normal thing then is to send some mail, and ask for the programs, but that did also not work, since all my mail bounced, because of a delivery time of more than 5 days. I tried various other things too, eg. tftp, using a system in albany as relaystation, I even went over a public telnet account in stuttgart and tried to ftp it from there(did also not work: guest logins have no diskspace...). So here is my (desperate) last try: Dear Mr. Michael Haardt, I liked your implementation of origami very much and would really appreciate it if you send it over to me here in buffalo. It would be nice if you send it within two weeks, because afterwards I'll no longer have any netaccess. Yours Alexander jung@einstein.physics.buffalo.edu Ps.: the only bug i found in origami 1.5 under sunos4.1 with mtools keybindings was to get a segmentation error everytime I saved from within a subfold. ---------------------------------------------------------- Alexander Jung (temporary at Buffalo, N.Y.) jung@einstein.physics.buffalo.edu ---------------------------------------------------------- Famous last words: 1) "Don't worry, I can handle it." 2) "You and what army?" 3) "If you were as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't be a cop."
