Again, my system: 286 PS/2, 30 Meg HD, 287 coproc, MCA architecture(32-bit bus)
one 3.5 drive
Questions:
1) will MINIX make use of the 32 bit architecture? If not, is there a PD
fix to let it use the 32 bit Architure
2) Ditto 1 replacing 287 coproc for 32-bit architecture.
3) Is there any NFS support for MINIX
My plan is to buy an AMIGA3000UX (running SYSVr$) and keep my PS/2.
Will I be able to network them, and have NFS access to their directories?
4) is there WINDOWS for MINIX?
5) can MINIX be made to boot up when the computer is turned on by default?
6) how big of a MINIX partition do people suggest? How mcuh space do the
286 MINIX-1.5 binaries take up? The sources?
7) If I have two 3.5 disks say with UNIX filesystems on them, and I mount
the 3.5drive on /A: with one of them in there, what would happen if I
took that 3.5 disk out and placed the other in its place. Would I now
have access to thte other floppy? Or would I have to remount it?
