Hello everyone!
I am (trying) to upgrade from PC Minix 1.3 to 1.5.10 using the patches from
plains (upgrades/pc1.5/*). I applied all of the diffs successfully,
and have checked all crc's and file lengths with no problems at all.
I also compiled everything for the C library and made libc.a, again with
no problem. My troubles start when I try and compile the commands in
/usr/src/commands - some of them compile OK, but quite a few of them
won't link - they get the error 'unresolved references: _M'. The programs that
wouldn't link due to this:
animals at cdiff ci co compress cron dd diskcheck ed gather getty help
last leave login lpr man mkdir modem more passwd pretty recover rmdir roff
sleep sort tee time update vol write
Can anyone help me with this or provide suggestions? I would very much like
to get 1.5.10 stable before the 1.6.10 patches come out....
