I bought my copy of the MINIX book from the Computer Literacy Bookshop
in Sunnyvale yesterday. They said they had "LOTS" on hand, and I saw
a few hundred stacked in the store.
Address is: 520 Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Tel: (408) 730-9955.
You can either drop in, order by phone with plastic, or by mail with
check or plastic. They promise next day shipment.
Good luck...

Take a look at the zmodem batch file transfers posted in comp.sources. They look like they could quite easily be massaged into a uucp work-alike (only better). Is anyone getting anywhere with the comport drivers ?? --mjr() -- "It is better to shred the bugger than to bugger the shredder." -ancient doltic proverb.

Did anyone port Minix to AT&T 3b2 machines? If anyone did, please let me know. Thanks. CSNET-address mkkam@houston.edu

9467) Crypt() ~ 123 (Norbert Schlenker)
From memory, the first decrypts Minix 1.5 passwords, and the second is
the source to a Unix crypt(2), that came out of Minix 1.2.
Minnie is available usually from 0700GMT to 2300GMT.
