I noticed that either Minix doesn't have the wall(1) command, or I have deleted it :-) This should be an easy project for anyone interested in taking it on. I'd write it if it weren't for my old Judo injury :-) David -- //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// / David Megginson david@doe.utoronto.ca / / Centre for Medieval Studies meggin@vm.epas.utoronto.ca / ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The path is minix/commands/simple-commands, file wall.c.Z. Works on MINIX PC, should work for you, too. There are also a lot of other little nice things. I practiced Aikido for a few years, but never had any injuries :-) Namaskaar Michael Haardt

I tried all four of these (2 names 2 num addresses). The only one on which I was successful was 134.95.80.1 Unfortunately, there is no minix directory there!?!? Am I looking in the wrong place? Has it been removed? Bruce --------- ### ## Courtesy of Bruce Varney ### # aka -> The Grand Master # asg@sage.cc.purdue.edu ### ##### # PUCC ### # ;-) # # ;'> # ##

To access the copy of the minix archive on ftp.Uni-Koeln.DE [134.95.80.1], you must cd to /thp/minix first! But note that you arrive in /pub when you start the session. Hope this helps.
