I am about to send the cdiffs from 1.5 to 1.6.16 to beta-minix. If you want to get these, join the list by sending mail to Glen (overby@plains.nodak.edu). This list also is having a lot of technical discussion that I think probably belongs in the newsgroup, but I can't convince those guys to move there. 1.6.16 has: - almost full ANSIfication of everything - about 2/3 of the POSIX P1003.1 calls implemented and tested - a better scheduler - many bug fixes - etc. Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)

If so, what parts of it can be ported to the Mac, ST and Amiga versions of Minix?
