configuration: uVaxII with qd32 Emulex controller (latest firmware) and
two fujitsu 2351A eagle disks.
OS: 4.3BSD xinu with disklabel stuff
one of the disks keeps reporting soft errors on many (about 2000) lbn.
the format and verify worked fine and found about 8 bad blocks.
The controller diagnostics pass without errors.
Has anyone seen this before?
Is the disk going bad ?(we've had it for more than five years)
In short, any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
