SCO Forum89 - International Conference for Developers and Resellers - August
21-25 - is next week, at UCSC Campus in Santa Cruz, California. It's not too
late to plan to attend.
There will be marketing and technical sessions, panel discussions, workshops,
a new product showcase, and BOFs, as well as social events (live bands, a 5km
run, lots of food, etc). Products of SCO, major OEMs, and many independent
hardware and software vendors are featured.
There are two exhibit areas with over 60 booths, and a developers' room for
informal demos and hacking, and a show ethernet to test interoperability.
Friday August 25th is Open Desktop Day. This will be a day of presentations
and demos of SCO's new UNIX workstation product.
Speakers from major international computer hardware and software companies
will offer industry views.
