#N:uicsovax:5500041:000:568 uicsovax!pat Nov 1 03:58:00 1982 4.1bsd Puzzle ------------- From Csh, a user wants to "suspend" a job outputting to his terminal (tty0), login again (tty1) and "continue" job with tty I/O sent to current terminal (tty1) . The question is: how can one redirected I/O ? Should I wait for 4.2bsd to work on this, or is there a trick I can use right now. I saw a friend do this on DEC TOPS-20 system and thought it would be handy for our operators & multi-terminal hackers. How bad are the problems relating to termcap ? Patrick E.
