Subject: Conference on Combinatorics and Complexity -- Call for Papers

                                  Call for Papers
For The Conference On Combinatorics and Complexity
                                 June 15-19, 1987
on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago
These papers may be submitted also to a special issue of Discrete
Applied Mathematics edited by Uri Peled. Papers will be refereed
under the usual standards of the journal. The deadline for
submitting the papers is August 31, 1987.
This conference will focus on new research results in
computational complexity theory and various topics in
combinatorics, with emphasis on the interaction of both areas.
The talks are expected to be of interest both to computer
         scientists and mathematicians.
The conference will feature 25 invited talks of 30 minutes length
and special sessions with contributed talks of 20 minutes length.
Abstracts (or full papers) for contributed talks should be sent
by April 15, 1987 to Wolfgang Maass, Uri Peled or Vera Pless,
Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, The
University of Illinois at Chicago, Box 4348, Chicago, IL 60680.
