If you consider contributing a paper to the conference, please do so in the next few days, as the deadline has already passed. Below is a Call for Papers with an updated list of invited speakers. Please Post Call for Papers For The Conference On Combinatorics and Complexity June 15-19, 1987 on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago These papers may be submitted also to a special issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics edited by Uri Peled. Papers will be refereed under the usual standards of the journal. The deadline for submitting the papers is August 31, 1987. This conference will focus on new research results in computational complexity theory and various topics in combinatorics, with emphasis on the interaction of both areas. The talks are expected to be of interest both to computer scientists and mathematicians. The conference will feature 25 invited talks of 30 minutes length and special sessions with contributed talks of 20 minutes length. Abstracts (or full papers) for contributed talks should be sent by April 15, 1987 to Wolfgang Maass, Uri Peled or Vera Pless, Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, The University of Illinois at Chicago, Box 4348, Chicago, IL 60680. Among the invited speakers will be the following: Miklos Ajtai, IBM Research Center, San Jose Noga Alon, Department of Mathematics, Tel Aviv University, and Bell Communications Research, Morristown Laszlo Babai, Department of Computer Science, University of Chicago, and and Eotvos University, Budapest Ravi Boppana, Department of Mathematics, M.I.T., Cambridge Richard Brualdi, Department of Mathematics, University of Wisconsin at Madison, and The University of Illinois at Chicago Fan Chung, Bell Communications Research, Morristown, NJ John Conway, Department of Mathematics, Princeton University Cynthia Dwork, IBM Almaden Research Center, San Jose Paul Erdos, Hungarian Academy of Sciences Aviezri Fraenkel, Department of Applied Mathematics, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel Andras Hajnal, Mathematical Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and The University of Illinois at Chicago Johan Hastad, Laboratory for Computer Science, M.I.T., Cambridge William M.
