[net.unix-wizards] DMA Graphics Device Drivers for UNIX?

I would appreciate hearing about UNIX device drivers for DMA graphics
devices including  Grinnel, Ramtek 9460, Chromatics.   In particular
what is the availability or licensing restrictions on these drivers.
Machine in question is Vax 11/780 running Berkeley 4.1.
