A couple of quick (but mind-boggling) questions about dump and restor:
1) What is the "redundant" but "unused" information (according to dump(8))
on the dump tape? Has anyone ever written something to use this?
2) What is meant by the "Tower of Hanoi" progression, as far as using tapes
goes? I know what the sequence is; what I don't know is why I should
bother applying it to dump tapes. As usual, the manual is not clear.
