A long-scheduled but nearly forgotten event is about to occur. On 28 September, Prabhakar Ragde will turn 30. He is presently in intense training for this emotional event, but will probably arrive at the big day completely unequipped. Accordingly, you are invited to an "over-the-hill" party during the afternoon and evening of 30 September to help him cast off the stereotypes of youth and settle into the stereotypes of old age. Guests are encouraged to be creative in their costume, choice of beverage, attitudes, language, political opinions, and anything else that may contribute to the theme. The party will be held in Georgetown; further details and directions will be posted at a later date. You have been warned. Note: the Anti-Gift Police will be at the door. Guests bearing birthday gifts will not only be turned away, but their car keys will be confiscated and they will have to walk home.
