The Questar 700mm f/8 mirror lens is razor-sharp to the edge, free of vignetting, with excellent color correction, and it focuses down to ten feet. An excellent lens for wild birds. Focusing is via a large rubberized ring around the middle of the lens. A Nikon adapter is included. Also included is the Questar Televid, along with a Questar 24mm eyepiece, which converts this lens to a bright, wide-field 30x spotting scope. The front aperture is 3.5", so twilight performance is outstanding. Questar is currently asking $2485 for just the lens, but since I got it when it was selling for only $1500, I can let the whole package go for $1000. The lens is optically in perfect condition, as sharp as the day I bought it. Must sell.
