[rec.birds] Birding in the Scottsdale / Phoenix area

I'll be attending a wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona during the second week
of January.  Although I won't be spending a great deal of time there
outside wedding activities (just a day or two) I'd like to try to do
some bird-wathcing.  Any suggestions for good, near-by spots?
