[rec.birds] Mystery 'raptor' identified

Thanks to all the kind folks who answered my appeal.
The overwhelming consensus is that this bird was
not a raptor at all, but a Common Nighthawk.  I'd
never seen one before, so it didn't occur to me
to think about one.
