As some others have also hoped for posting to the U.S. I won't restrict the
distribution to Europe. Thanks for support ! I'm glad to hear that you're
interested in European birdlife also.

No fancy rarities to boast about this time. Saw a couple of Golden Eagles
(Aquila chrysaetos) and one Haliaetus albicilla as well yesterday.
The most interesting ...
bird at the moment in Finland is probably a young Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus)
near Vaasa on the west coast. It's delighted birdwatchers there for two weeks
now (accompanied by a Peregrine Falco peregrinus).
