[rec.birds] Damn Bird Won't Leave

We had a couple of kildeer living behind our apartment.  They had two
chicks.  One of the kildeer, we believe one of the chicks, hasn't
migrated.  How long do they hang around?  We are supposed to get snow
this weekend!  Any suggestions?
