An immature Snowy Owl delighted birdwatchers of Helsinki again on the 22nd of Oct. when probably the same individual which was seen about two weeks earlier nearby showed up in the northern part of Helsinki. The bird perched in a middle of a field and let observers admire it's beauty for several hours at a distance of (about) 400 meters . This was the third observation of Snowy Owl (Nyctea scandiaca) in Helsinki (two individuals) this autumn. At least one observation of the species has been made in the west coast.
