Why is it that some of you 'outdoor' bird people are sooooo uptight about mixing indoor and outdoor bird articles? I pimple question yesterday about budgies and I was immediately snagged by Sandy who ever that is, for not posting indoor or outdoor. SOMETIMES YOU JUST FORGET ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT LIVING!!! , Sandy. I could certainly understand your complaining, which I have seen much, if this was a huge network with thousands or even hundreds of articles. But the fact is I read it about once a week and flip through about 10 articles maybe 20 on a busy week. So why don't you just learn to get along with all types of bird fanciers! You are not the only one. NYM

By the way, my previous article was not meant to offend an not involved . But this morning I received nasty mail from Sandy which started me off wrong. Anyway, Sandi, reading back, I did post indoor for your information. NYM

This has been hashed over a hundred times before. This is a bird
WATCHING newsgroup, not a bird owning newsgroup. However, you are
correct in that this is not one of the more active groups. So the
general consensus was, "If it's not about birding, indicate that in
the header". That's all.
Then maybe we could tolerate you silly indoor types... :-) :-)

SOMETIMES > YOU JUST FORGET ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT LIVING!!! , Sandy. Interestingly put. I rarely meet a "bird watcher" who doesn't stick their nose up in the air when I talk about my birds (who sometimes PREFER to stay in their cage) and some even get this terroristic "right-to-life"-er type look on their face. Scarey. Birdwatching seems like more of a hobby to me so it might very well be better of under rec.hobbies.birds and we could post to rec.pets.birds. This different groups garbage is just that. Why can't there be a group called birds, one called dogs, one called sex, one called photography and screw the rec.'s and the misc.'s and the soc.'s... --

The group on the bottom of my screen says REC.BIRDS. Not REC.BIRDS.WATCHERS_OF_THE_SKY nor REC.BIRDS.SNOT. --
