	To Linda Rasmussen and anyone else interested:

		The rarities in the state now include:

			1. Trumpeter Swan at Bosque del Apache Refuge
			2. Oldsquaw and Thayer's Gull at Caballo Dam
			3. Oldsquaw and White-fronted Goose at Bitter Lake
			       Refuge as of 12/25
			4. White-fronted Geese near San Antonio
			5. Lapland, McCown's, and Chestnut-collared
			       Longspurs at Moriarty
			6. Merlins at Belen, Bosque del Apache, and near
			      Moriarty.  Prairie Falcon at Moriarty.
			7. Three-toed Woodpecker in Jemez Mountains near
			      Los Alamos.
		Be sure to report anything seen in the state-either by
	calling our RBA at 1-505-662-2101 or by this network or by E-mail.
