for those who are interested a bulletin board of Rare Bird Alerts has
been begun in arizona. It is like the Osprey's nest in the east.
to get to this bbs, dial on your modem 1-602-629-0502 and go
into message area 12. So far it has RBAs (Rare Bird Alerts) for
NM, Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas and the east.
This message area is called Birdwatchers' Nest Echo. you
need 300-9600 baud 24 hours.
This is an area to report sightings and discussion of birding
related topics. Announcements of field trips, meetings and other
activities are encouraged.
Chuck Williamson and Sharon Goldwasser of Tucson are acting
as moderators for this service.
By the way, since we were discussing conures and their
biting, does anyone know how to trim that bill when it gets too long?
