We've recently experienced a very substantial boom in catbird populations around here. Are they fledging their kids about now? These all appear to be full grown adults.... We also have two families of flickers who apparently can recognize the sound of a power lawnmower; they travel around the neighborhood picking through the just-mown patches, often while the mower is still going!
