I'm going to spend a week in the end of September in southern Portugal (Algarve region) and as I'm renting a car for a couple of days I would be very interested to hear of any good birding sites in Algarve region (and southern Portugal). I've consulted Gooders (Where to watch ...) already and would be interested in any personal experiences and other spots not mentioned in Gooders' book. As I've nothing against twitching (on the contrary) any hints on where to find som specific species are also welcome. I can send a list of species I'd like to see if you can help me. Martin PS.
