I spoke with Mike Wallace, Curator of Birds at the Los Angeles Zoo, on 7/23/90.
At that time there were 20 CA Condors at the LA Zoo, and 20 at the San Deigo
Zoo. He expected to be able to release some of the birds sometime between
1991 and 1993.
