I would like to get my hands on a recording of some loon calls. I was able to find a really good book with a mini 6" 33rpm phono recording. But, the record is made out of really thin plastic and sounds terrible. I am hoping to find something on CD. And, the more of it, the better. I think I heard somewhere on NPR that there is a specialist in animal communication whose just come out of ten years in the Maine wilderness and put out such a CD, but I don't remember his name or the publisher of the CD.
