Hey everyone, Happy '91 !!! (I know its late...) An article in the Dec. 1990 issue of BIRDTALK about African Grey's seemed to indicate that they are particularly predisposed to feather plucking. Is this really a big problem, or just more common with them than with other birds? Is it easily avoidable if the bird has enough attention, company, and stuff to do? Also, the two articles seemed to concentrate on the Grey's ability to imitate as there strongest point. How are their personalities? Adventurous, comic, mellow? Maybe Amazons are a safer bet...
