Hi! I will be leaving tomorrow evening for 2 days of birding in south Florida before a conference. I will be chasing the Stripe-headed Tanager on Key Biscayne, the La Sagra Flycatcher and Thick-billed Vireo in Islamorada, the Mangrove Swallow in southwest Miami, and the Groove-billed Ani at Flamingo in Everglades NP. But I would also like to see Glossy Cowbird, which I gather is now not rare enough to be mentioned on rare bird tapes. How common is it? Where are some good places to see it, in the Keys, the Everglades, and/or Greater Miami? Thanks!! David Mark dmark@sun.acsu.buffalo.edu
