We just purchased a 24" Versatec printer/plotter. The Versatec people here say that the print and plot vectors cannot be the same, yet the UNIX documentation for 4.1bsd says that they should be the same. Indeed, when we have them separated, we get stray interrputs from the print vector. We have used the kludge in the #ifdef ERNIE portion of vp.c in vpprobe(), but all that does is change the vector to the plot vector for the configuration. In the running system, attempts to use the print portion cause the stray interrupt. I would like to use one vector if possible. If not, can someone provide me with the solution to this problem. Also, since the 4.1bsd mentions that the Versatec is a 36", are there any programs that need to be changed for our 24" to work? Thanx --steve
