I really enjoy Rogue on the Unix computer, and I was wondering what the
best Rogue imitation would be for the Commodore 64/128.
Some of the things I would want in this game are:
1) To have one computer screen be one floor (instead of one room)
2) To be reasonably (for the C64) fast
3) To have graphics. I have Zork, but I get frustrated playing it, esp.
those twisty passages all alike. The game does NOT have to have great
graphics (the version I have here only has keyboard graphics, no sprites
or anything, but I enjoy it)
4) Price is no object, but of course, the cheaper, the better!
5) More than one character moves at a time.
I had bought "Age of Adventure" (a role-playing adventure for mythology and
Ali Baba), but it does not have 1),5), or much of 2). What do you expect
for 2 games for 13 dollars, anyway?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! All of these role playing games out
on the market totally confuse me as a consumer. Please send me e-mail,
as I haven't been reading USENET lately. Thank you.
