From: Perry Flinn <perry.gatech@Udel-Relay> Date: 3 Dec 82 14:25:54-EST (Fri) To all you people out there who are on both the uucp network and CSNet: How have you arranged (if indeed you have) for Berkeley delivermail and Delaware mmdf to coexist in harmony without requiring the user to use a different mail interface program for each?

Some time back, I modified Berkeley's mail command to speak native MMDFish. UNC now uses it as its only mail command (along with the uucp channel developed at BRL-BMD). I sent my stuff up to the folks at Delaware for redistribution; it should be available from them. --Steve Bellovin duke!unc!smb smb.unc@udel-relay

From: Doug Kingston <dpk@BRL> Date: 9 Dec 82 14:38:28-EST (Thu) The Berkeley "Mail" program has been modified to use the MMDF transport mechanism and to use the MMDF mailbox format. I can get you the code if you cannot get it some other way. The work was done at UNC by Steve Bellovin who has since left, but some one down there should be able to send it to you. This "user agent" should be available on the next distribution of MMDF to be released soon. -Doug-
