Does system V do paging on a VAX, or does it still require
that the whole process be loaded before any of it can be run?

According to Western Electric, System V does not do paging, but System VI
(for release Jan-84) does.

System V is still a swapping system. System IV (internal 6.0) will
have paging - Berkeley fashion.

Paging for 32-bit machines only will be in System VI, not System V.
Partial swapping until then (~ 1 year).
