System 5 is the current Bell Labs internal version.  Therefore, if
you have system 5 you are as advanced as anyone in the labs (except
the pure research branch, where they run Berkeley 4.1bsd).

There are many laboratories within Bell Labs that also run BSD 4.1 rather
than 5.0.
In fact if I remember correctly several of
the first machines within the labs to run 4.1 were outside research.
