The Videocipher II is broken by the apparent re-programming of U30, >> a 27128 prom. I have two requests: (Oh,ok! Pretty Please?) First: Does anyone have a list of the other ICs used in the Videocipher II ? Second: I just moved into a new house which does not have cable in the area and I am thinking of buying a home satellite system. After many years of having cable TV, I want more than the six local stations. I have looked at both the "Home Satellite TV" and "STV" magazines and have been dissatisfied with their non-indepth reviews of equipment. What seems to be missing is comparasion of one brand verses another. I am looking for information on antennas, feeds, and LNBs in the way of performance, ease of assembly, accuracy, etc. Also, if you have a satellite system, please reply with how you like it. tektronix!teklds!dadla!bobd Thanx!
