I am interested in connecting the digital or analog, preferably analog, RGB output of my Amiga computer to a particular monitor. Currently I am using the computer's composite video output, but this does not produce the greatest results. The monitor is part of a Sony editing setup, ie: it has the 8-pin connector that is found on U-matic video recorders. My question is does this 8-pin connector accept RGB and if it does which pins do I use? Analog? Digital? HELP! As the answer to this question is not a burning issue on the net, please respond via e-mail. -- -- Scott Thompson (IHP 2A-428), AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, Il. 60566 VOICE: (312)-416-4236 UUCP: ...!ihnp4!ihlpa!sft

It does not accept RGB. pins 1 and 2 are audio and composite video in
respectively, pins 5 & 6 are ground.
