[rec.video] Color monitor question

Hi Netters! I have a question regarding my 10" Panasonic color monitor.
I believe it takes "composit" video signal input (an audio and a video RCA jack).
I currently use it for my Commodore 64 computer, but since I'm selling it (anyone
interested?) and *may* keep the monitor, I was wondering if/how it would be
possible to use this with my cable system at home. I understand that a cable
box "broadcasts" the selected channel on VHF-3 (or 4). Is there any way to
"display" the channel on the monitor? I know I should have a tuner, like maybe
a VCR, I was just wondering if I could get away with having no more than
the monitor and cable tuner box.

Justa' wonderin',
Ron

Just attach the audio and video outputs of your vcr to the audio and video
inputs of the monitor and you are all set. If you don't have a vcr to spare,
Magnavox used to sell a little cheap tuner.

Good Luck,

Mat
