RE: MTC/USA "One For All" (URC-5000) Programmable remote This remote controller, mentioned briefly in the June/July and August/September Circuit Cellar INK, sounds interesting because it it knows about X10 (there is an X10 gateway available) and can *learn* the IR commands from other IR remotes. I would like to know how it compares in features with the Memorex CP8 universal remote. How can one obtain this remote? Generically, I would like a universal remote that has the same features as the Memorex (timers, can learn sequences), but also expands the number of buttons. The Yamaha remote looks interesting as well but it does not have any timers. Radio Shack is selling out their version of the Memorex CP8.
