I have a number of appliances that I purchased in the US that operate at 60hz (120 volts) and have various digital clocks. I use the{ in Israel and other areas where the current is 220v, 50hz. I use a transformer to go from the 220v to 120v and the machines {video, radio, etc.) work fine, but the clocks are all of because they wait 60hz to register a second (ie, 10hz too long). Is there any simple way to fix or convert the clocks (can I buy a cheap chip and replace the orginal, for example?) Please reply directly by e-mail and any help would be appreciated.
